After getting my first draft back, I am now researching more in detail and making alot of revisions in my literature review. I feel that my revisions are going very well and I feel very excited to see the outcome of my project.
When it comes to doing a research proposal or a research project, I have mixed feelings about it. I am excited to get the project done and have it on paper, but after talking to a few students from both communities I'm not sure that either groups are ready for dialouge yet. I am possibly thinking about doing a survey or something along those lines to get more input. I am very excited to see the outcome of this project though.

Hi Lanisha,
ReplyDeleteI think you are putting a lot of thought into this proposal, and that's good.
Yes, you are right--no one is ready to put an actual activity into effect yet. More information needs to be gathered from both communities before an activity can take place. And so you would need to propose a form of research (like a survey, or some kind of interview process) where you can find out more about the campus climate and people's attitudes/knowledge level on the subject.
Keep me posted!
