Discussion #6

In researching for my book for the research project I preferred the MC Library OPAC verses the GRR OPAC. I found many more book that were more informational at the MC Library than I did at the GRR. When I did my search on the GRR OPAC, it showed 37 results. Most of the results really did not have anything to do with my subject. Alot of them were fiction books with one or both words from my search in them. When I searched the MC OPAC I found 56 books and most of them were very informational and related to my subject very well.

    Hi Lanisha,

    It is interesting that the public library did not have books on your topic. What keyword variations did you use when you searched for resources in the GRRL OPAC?

    I tried several different keywords. Most of my search results were non-fiction books. I am going to try and do another search with different keywords.
